Kodi Smit-McPhee (Romulus, My Father) was originally cast to play young Logan in the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine until the filming schedule shifted causing it to overlap a role he desired playing the son of Viggo Mortensen in The Road. Now, Perth singer Troye Mellet will portray the young Wolverine.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is currently filming and scheduled for release May 1, 2009.
