USA Networks has finally announced cancellation of The 4400 after four seasons. Since no word of renewal was mentioned prior to the season finale, speculation has pointed to this outcome. It's a shame decisions weren't made sooner to allow the story some closer. Perhaps fans can hold out hope of a two-hour movie.
