Daniel Craig signed with MGM to play James Bond in four more films. His predecessor, Pierce Brosnan starred in a total of four films while Sir Roger Moore portrayed 007 in a record seven films. The 22nd installment in the James Bond franchise is currently in pre-production with a scheduled release date of November 7, 2008.
