20th Century Fox Television has given Joss Whedon seven episodes to bring his drama Dollhouse to life. The story centers around the Dolls who have their personalities wiped and take on new personas to complete missions. Eliza Dushku (Tru Calling) plays doll Echo who begins to become self-aware.
Tahmoh Penikett, who plays Lt Karl C "Helo" Agathon on the Sci Fi Channel television series Battlestar Galactica, will play FBI field agent Paul Smith who is obsessed with chasing the legend of the Dollhouse.
Fran Kranz (Josh Flug on Welcome to the Captain) will play computer geek Topher Brink who programs the dolls.
Dichen Lachman, Nurse Katya Kinski on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, will play doll Sierra.
Enver Gjokaj will play doll Victor.
There are still four remaining vacant characters Adelle DeWitt, who runs the Dollhouse, Boyd Langton, Echo's bodyguard, doll November, and Dr. Claire Saunders, Dollhouse physician.
