The G.I. Joe movie has cast Chris Eccleston as villainous Destro. Irish-born David Murray was originally cast for the role but had problems getting a work visa.
Eccleston is best known for playing Doctor Who in 2005 (the ninth Doctor) and his recurring role as Claude, the invisible man on Heroes.
