Tyler Perry joins Star Trek XI playing the head of Starfleet Academy. Aside from his television series House of Payne, Tyler Perry is best known for writing, directing and acting in Why Did I Get Married?, Madea's Family Reunion, and Diary of a Mad Black Woman.
