J. K. Rowling has handwritten and illustrated seven copies of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, the book left to Hermione Granger by Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore. One copy will be auctioned by Sotheby's on December 13, 2007 to raise money for her charity, The Children's Voice, and the others will be given away. No copies will be published.
