Contrary to our previous report, Charisma will not be appearing on Celebrity Apprentice. The cast of celebrity participants is still comprised primarily of speculation and rumor. Pay attention because deciding whose in and whose out could be the most exciting part of this show.
The good news, according to TV Guide we'll still being seeing Charisma guest starring in FOX's Back to You and the new ABC drama Big Shots.
Chronicles of Narnia
The next film in the series, Prince Caspian will arrive in theaters May 16, 2008. Even though Disney set out to complete one film each year until all seven C.S. Lewis books were on the big screen, the third film in the Chronicles of Narnia series, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, has been delayed for release until May 2010.
Harry Potter
Jim Broadbent has been cast as Horace Slughorn, potion master, in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Rumors are flying that Scottish comedian Billy Connolly may be cast as Xenophilius Lovegood for the upcoming Deathly Hallows.
Star Trek XI
Zoe Saldana (Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Drumline) will fill the shoes of original cast member Nichelle Nichols when she takes on the role of Chief Communications Office Uhura.
Transformers 2
The Los Angeles Times is reporting Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay have signed with DreamWorks to make Transformers 2, which will hit theaters in June 29, 2009. Director Michael Bay has already announced his interest in doing a second film and his desire to complete it before the upcoming strike. This could make his production schedule tight if things don't get rolling soon. Of course, if they just get rid of the people and introduce new Transformers, they could do it all CGI. Think Beowulf with Mecha but without candid reaction shots from Shia LaBeouf.
