This is an exciting time for collectors of The Duke, as this is the first time that John Wayne has been immortalized on Collector Cards. This series of cards based on the legendary John Wayne features photography by David Sutton, and the writing of Tim Lilley, both of whom are well known to fans of John Wayne. This collection is officially licensed through Wayne Enterprises. The complete collection is comprised of the following:
• A 72 card base set printed on heavy 18 point card stock
• A 12 card subset, “Leading Roles”, printed on extra heavy 24 point Rainbow Holographic Foil, randomly inserted throughout the series
• A 9 card subset, “Hero’s Hats”, printed on heavy Canvas Board and diecut, randomly inserted throughout the series
• A 4 card subset, “Favorite Hobbies”, printed on heavy Canvas Board and randomly inserted throughout the series
• Sketch Art Cards® drawn by prestigious artists Chris Henderson and Cynthia Cummens
• 6 different Costume Cards featuring actual pieces of clothing from John Wayne’s wardrobe, as certified by Wayne Enterprises
